Our History

Out of the Woods Industries, LLC was founded by Torino Woods in October 2016, with the support of his wife, Nicole. Together, they set out to reshape the construction and real estate industries, driven by an unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service. For Torino, establishing the company was not only a business venture but also a means to create a stable foundation for his family. Originally from Chicago, he relocated to San Antonio, TX, in 2013, and following his retirement from military service in 2014, he has since made San Antonio his permanent home.

Torino Woods began his military career on May 28, 2008, when he joined the U.S. Army. Throughout his service, he held assignments with various units, including the 2nd Battalion 47th Infantry at Ft. Benning, GA; the 1st Battalion 43rd Air Defense Artillery Battalion and 2nd Battalion 43rd Air Defense Artillery Battalion at Ft. Bliss, TX; the 125th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division at Ft. Bliss, TX; and the 9th Engineers Battalion in Schweinfurt, Germany. He later joined the Wounded Warrior Battalion at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX.

A college graduate who entered the Army through the "High Graduate Program," Torino was consistently placed in leadership roles due to his exemplary leadership skills. He served in key positions across several Army Dining Facilities, including Senior Food Service Representative, floor supervisor, and various specialty roles in Administration, Rations, Repair & Utilities, and as First Cook.
